Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for her wide variety of roles across film, television, and theatre. Her achievements include the Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award among others. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11 2022), An American actor. She first gained recognition for her roles for her roles as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love of the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991) and she was the recipient of the two Soap Opera Digest Awards. The late 1990s saw her rise to prominence with her performances in crime dramas Donnie Brasco and Volcano, the film about horror I Know What You Did Yesterday Summer as well as the comedy about politics Wag the Dog. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 6, 1953. She is an American actor. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba on the TV series Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). Her mother is the actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was only a few years old when she began her acting career. The film T is for Tumbleweed, her first movie role was at four years old. The film was nominated for an Academy Award in this short film. She would spend time working on set with her mom, where she was able to learn about the nuances of the business world. Lockhart was also a part of many episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her debut film. In 1972, she was 18 years old when she played her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan was the last actress to appear in the show. Anne had reportedly turned down Laurie Strode (John Carpenter's 1978 Halloween thriller) as well as Jaime Lee Curtis took the role. Carpenter says that the actress declined his invitation to play Laurie Strode. Anne can't remember John Carpenter having contacted her and offering the position. There is a chance that her agent turned it down for her without informing her. Glen Larson, who had given her the initial draft script of a character in the television series Battlestar Galactica from 1978, initially chose her. She initially rejected the role since the character did not seem to be strong enough. Glen later wrote a part for her which starred a strong character called Sheba. She embraced the Living Legend script after reading its first 25 pages. It lasted for just one season. The actress starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the movie Joyride (1977) as well as co-starred along with Michael Moriarty in the horror film The Dark Tower (1987).
