Scarlett Johansson (born November 22 1984 New York City New York, U.S.) American actor and performer whose performance variety earned her acclaim in a variety of styles from period dramas to thriller and action adventure. Johansson daughter of an architect as well as a producer, was born as a child in New York City. Hunter Her twin brother, and she were all the smallest of a family of four. When she was a child, she developed a passion for acting. She began making commercial auditions around the age seven. Johansson was later seen on screen in Just Cause, but she was first seen in Manny & Lo, a film that follows orphaned siblings as they run away. Then, she was awarded high praise from critics for her performance as the role of a teenager who been injured and caused her to be damaged in The Horse Whisperer (1998).
